The hardwood Wall Mount and Brackets are made out of 1" X 4" Poplar wood. Easy to screw into a wall
of your choice. These brackets will not only hold the PVC Chong, but is made in such a way that when
you hit it, kick it, or whatever, the PVC Chong bounces in the same and identical manner as a
Traditional Wooden Chong.
These Wooden Wall Brackets are suitable for either placing directly against a wall, on both sides of an
open doorway or inside a garage/barn area where you have direct access to "open" walls and can
easily screw them into the wooden 2 X 4's that make up the wall.
Included with the four Wooden Wall Brackets are four "Pole Pins" that slip through the holes at the end
of your poles and into the middle section of the Wall Brackets. These act like "brakes" as they prevent
the poles from moving during your applied techniques of Kung Fu. Included are the six wooden screws  
needed to secure them to whatever structure you decide to place them on.

The two photos above show a Wall Bracket attached to a Wall Mount and a 2 X 4. The second photo
shows a pole attached to a Wall Bracket and a Pole Pin holding the pole to the Wall Bracket.
Purchase only the Wooden Wall Brackets if you can add your own backing to them. A trip to your
local lumber yard and purchase of two 6' 1 X 4 Poplar pieces or equivalent will do the trick, along
with a few wooden screws. You'll need to follow the instructions that will be included with your
purchased items. The instructions will include the exact measurements you will need to follow in
placing your four Wooden Wall Brackets correctly on either your own backing or the wall itself.
Wooden Wall Brackets come fully assembled.
The advantage of purchasing the Wooden Wall Mount with the Wooden Wall Brackets is that the
measurements are all ready done for you. You simply place the Wooden Wall Mount against your wall
or structure, keeping them exactly four feet apart, and then place the wooden screws in the
appropriate places.
All of my photos that show the Chong and the Wooden Wall Mount have an added 2 X 4 placed against
the wall first. Then the Wooden Wall Mount with Brackets is screwed to the 2 X 4. You may need more
space then what the Wooden Wall Mount and/or Wooden Wall Brackets provide if you are going to
screw them directly into a wall. Even though what I have in my photo works perfectly for me and my
students, you may need more space between the Chong and the wall.
Using 2 X 4's is one way to achieve this. However, using 2 X 4's are not always needed if you place
your Chong Wooden Wall Mount/Brackets around an open doorway. They will not be needed inside
garage/barn area where the finished wall doesn't exist. Just make sure you follow the instructions
that are included in order to secure the Brackets and/or Mount to the structure of your choice.
Included are the six wooden screws with the two Wall Mounts that is needed to secure them to
whatever structure you decide to place them on.
Wooden Wall Mount with Wooden Wall Brackets comes fully assembled. The entire package consist
of two 1 X 4 six foot Wall Mounts with four Wall Brackets all ready attached to them. All wood is
Poplar, a hard wood. This package does not include the 2 X 4's shown in my photo's.
